UltimateBet has added synchronized breaks to their online poker tournament play
Leading online poker site UltimateBet has begun to offer synchronized breaks in its online poker tournaments, giving players the chance to stretch their legs during the intense poker combat that has made the room one of the favorite places to play for millions of poker fans. At the 55th minute of every hour, a five-minute break is given to all players in a tournament. This feature has been added to the majority of poker tournaments across the CEREUS network, incuding those played at UltimateBet’s sister room, Absolute Poker.
For example, if a tournament with the Synchronized Breaks feature kicks off at 11:30 ET, players can expect the tournament to go on break at 11:55 ET. Multi-tournament players can make informed selection of events to enter by checking them first in the tournament lobby to see if they have Synchronized Breaks enabled. Ultimatebet online poker players can stress less every hour no matter how many tournaments they’re involved in because they’re now given a chance to step away from the action at the felt for a scheduled five-minute breather, and re-set their game plan for the next stage of play.
While the breaks are offered in most tournaments, they do not occur in the following types of tournaments:
* Events that are still open for late registration.
* Tournaments that are still within the first blind level.
* Turbo and Ultra Turbo Tournaments within the first two blind levels.
* Multi-Table Sit and Go tournaments.
In addition to the synchronized breaks, UltimateBet is now offering players a “raise to” feature. The new ‘RAISE TO’ button allows players to raise to a certain amount without having to subtract their initial bet that is already on the table. This feature eliminates the pressure on a player to do complex math on the spot, and raising a bet is now a two-step process versus the three steps that it took prior to this change. To use this feature, simply enter the amount you wish to raise to and click the RAISE TO button.
“These changes are just the latest in UltimateBet’s continuing quest to offer the best place to play poker online period,” said a spokesperson for the poker room. “We’ll always do our best to offer players more to love at each and every table.”
